Finally...

Got the ID4 alien attack ship done and posted at Kevlar's site. Hope you have fun with it...

well I've got one that is in an early stage of development (ents are mostly done, gotta make a new projectile mesh)

I have it but can't find my cd anywhere
Seriously...if anyone finds a TM no-cd patch somewhere....I actually saw it once somewhere,tried it and it worked...but I have wiped my hd a couple times since then and no longer have it.Maybe there is a way to disable the cd check in the registry?

Ill e-mail jim, see what he thinks to a nocd patch - personally i think it would be a good idea because even a folder copy cant be patched up, it needs the cd.

DOH!!!

After getting more experience with UnWrap, I've made some significant changes to the tank as well as the mesh.

It's more detailed now since I've given more real estate to the tank body. I've fixed the turret so it doesn't have that multi mesh look. I've also moved the barrel up as I found out that it was only shooting about 2/3rds the way of a standard tank with a turret that high.

I've also lowered the poly count as well as the skin map size. So overall, this tank is lighter for download and install. But it will still pack a wallop!

I've submitted the update to TM-Central and it might take awhile before you can get it. Email/AIM/ICQ me for the final version if you want to play with this one. I'll let RexR handle the new projectile for this tank.

Okay...this is the last update!

Moved the entire model down about .5 meters. This fixes the problem with the projectile and muzzle flash origin point being too low. Also, the tank will handle better as its center of gravity is lower.

Included now is the beam weapon that RexR created for this tank. You should be able to kick some serious "xxxx" with this tank now. Get some!!!

I just came here to let you know that the projectile folder was missing. I just got thru playing around with it. It had invisible bullets.

Last time...really!!

Noticed that the ID4 tank was shooting over the other tanks because it was too big. The tank has been resized and sent to TM-Central. File size should be 93k and dated today.
