Whoa!!!
Alot of new tank skins since the last time I saw it. And a few new tanks, too.

Wait till they see the cool built-in tank weapons. Especially on the Sturmfeur and Harasser. I am downloading now too. I'm assuming you have the server up and running?

Yeap, server is up. Just need 6 people minimum (3 per side) to play.

The server is Boomstick 2

Help Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Tried to get the CTF mod running and no luck so far. Have downloaded the files, loaded into a fresh install, etc etc. No luck. Can't figure out what is wrong. Click on the CTF thingie and it says the addons folder renamed etc etc and when it launches TM nothing from the CTF mod is in there. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks JT

Hmmm. Maybe there is a write lock on the TeamCTF folder. You may need to reboot. IF that doan't help. Rename you adddons folder to something else, and then rename TeamCTF to addons. Then start the game normally.

I should've put in some error checking in the scripts.

Hya - got the thing to work. Awesome dude I did the rename thing by hand and took out the CTF thing that was to do the rename back and forth. Works good so far. Love it. JT

Great

Thanks for the koodos guys!

I wonder why the script failed on your machine Wolfman.

Now all we need is to organise a clan war on it, and we'll have a good time.

The original version suffered problems, but the release version had lots of improvements. The was a problem with the missiles lagging when they launch, but that has been taken care of. I've been on the server with 3 other people and had no lag problems from the server (I've been having problems specific to my machine, namely a task called 'VSMON.EXE' that goes bonkers after a while and sucks up all processor resources).
But I really need a test with minimum 6 players (the mod was designed for a CTF of at least 6 people), to make sure its OK.

Although I'd want to do a test beforehand to make sure everything is perfecto, I don't think I can every get a better test than an actual event.

It would definitly put it through its paces.

I'm up for it. Are you with me?
Yay or Nay!

commoner: um, which means yes?
merry man: 'yay'

After crusing the web, I answered my own question. VSMON.EXE is the windows tray processes for ZoneAlarm which gives you a display of your network traffic. Guess what? when the traffic reaches a certain level and the evnviorment is just right, VSMON goes into an endless loop.

Fix? Upgrade to the new version.
