Hi All

Just done a Virus scan on my computer and found The file Date: 3/20/2002, Time: 18:11:34, John on HOME
The file C:\Games\Tread Marks 1.5\Uninstal.exe is infected with the Backdoor.Trojan virus.
The file was quarantined.

Anyone have any idea why or how I got this o Treadmarks only?.

Good I didn't know how I got the virus, so that is good news thanks for that, will my quarantineing the file be a problem? should i reinstall them?

I am in mid discussion with Symantec Technical support, on the issue.

They asked me to submit the quarantined sample. When I did and I got two responses from their automated scan and response system.

One response said that the sample contained no malicious code, the other said it did, so I have passed the info along with a tracking number to a human in tech supp who is supposed to investigate the conflicting responses. I will post here or in the other thread when they tell me something.
