Just wondering.
I used to use the keyboard, but after getting a game pad, I'm using that. I LOVE IT!

What do you use?

I use the keyboard, have tried using a gamepad but just couldn't get use to it. When using the gamepad I'm even worse then I am on the keyboard. My frags are low enough as they are.

Lets see, starting with ~beta 0.7* thru 1.6...
1) Keyboard
2) Logitech Gamepad
3) Keyboard/Mouse
4) Logitech Joystick
5) Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick

I think I play too much
The Sidewinder is the best so far. Lots of buttons, no constant calibration or turret spin, and I can play with 1 hand. The KB/M combo is deadly, but my beer was getting warm.

keyboard for the demo and first month of full version. Was shown the light (sidewinder joystick) by my son ramTHIS, and never looked back. Toyed with the mouse (eh?) but never really got into it.

sidewinder joystick if I play on my desktop, keyboard only if I play on my laptop. I have a mouse for the laptop, but for me, it's just easier to only use the keyboard.

Back to the subject at hand - I am with A2597 and use a game pad. Lousy at moving the turret even with it, but I like it.

I'm usin' a MS Sidewinder 3D Pro 'stick. Just set up with the stick controlling movement, trigger button to fire and the rudder control for the turret. Works well for me...mebbe not fragwise, but it's comfy .
