Any idea if there will be a ddm #6?

The topic "We Need to Fix the DDMs" from coax fizzled since the 14th. Any idea on fixes? Or just try to login and see what happens? Nothing going on at all?

I'll tape the season ending of Sopranos.

I've got a PIII 1GHZ/WINME/256MB RAM and a cable modem if that helps. I can run treadmarks on my laptop and have the PC act as a server if that's the issue. I'm not sure if the issue is bandwidth or server speed.

No idea, but I can arrange to play a DDM just about anytime during the next 2 weeks. I just have to known in advance.

I'm still going to be setting one up for Sunday night - hopefully to become a regular thing. I've changed some network settings, and hopefully the trunks in the area will be a little less lossy next time. We'll just have to see how it goes.

And I'm sure my home box could support a decent server, too. It's not the horsepower of the machine that matters, but the quality of the connection. My mod server was running for months on a regular Pentium 200 (!) with 96 meg of RAM and an ancient 2gig hard drive. However, it had a nice connection.

Gee Coax, you think so lowly of me to not be able to figure things out from last time? *chuckle*

It's already set, and the other servers have been for days.

Same routine as last time, other than the lower network settings. As always, I'll put it up well in advance (replacing my mod server) to let folks test it out and play on the maps to practice.

Also as always, any comments are welcomed.

I think we ahould just try to have it open to all again. If it was a thing with packet loss last week,I think Skandraron had ironed out the problem. So maybe it will be able to handle a lot of players now.
Still no word on the T3 I was trying to get.

Tread_THIS is a good name.Just take out the underscore though I'm sure we'll have 30-40 people show up and make Skandraron's server scream from pain

Don't think so............unless it will let you connect by manually entering in the IP.Actually,I haven't heard anybody say they could connect to the 1.59 servers through 1.0.Doubt it though.

Man Marix, your a little late You must attend the next one because I won't be able to.Come to think of it,I beleive I was the only DNXer to attend DDM 6.Time for an awakening. We need to start dropping poeple who don't even play the game.

I know you ok in your standings with BWL Dreamer The problem is DNX has about 15 or 20 people and I've only seen about 5 or 6 online at anytime. The other 15 don't play.At least I've never seen them before and I play all the time.
Matrix:We need to get all of them togther for one or two games, maybe a sort of DDM.That way we can get to know each other and introduce ourselves.
