Just a FYI for those of you who spend some time out of the glow of your monitor:
The Lyrid Metor shower is tonite and tomorrow morning. Here are some highlights from the article from www.astronomy.com :
"The April Lyrid meteor shower is one of the reliable showers of the year and it reaches a peak the night of April 21/22 (about 11pm EST). This year’s shower is ideally timed around to the moon's waning crescent phase, giving nice dark skies for observing the fainter members of this group. The shower's radiant lies in the constellation Lyra the Harp and is well-placed for the northern hemisphere after 10:30 p.m. local time. Hourly meteor rates are variable for the Lyrids, with the 1982 shower producing as many as 90 per hour and last year’s shower at 20 per hour. This year’s activity should peak at about 15 to 20 per hour for an 8- to 12-hour period. Be on the lookout for the swift bright meteors that are associated with the Lyrids. "

Okay and now for the tie-in that makes this not pure spam - How about meeting up at Kasplatt's server for a couple of rounds in the Plasma Pit Hot (w/ plasma rain)map? I don't know when I will be on but I will try to catch up w/yall.
Okay, so this is spam, but hey, I gotta loose my new member status since changing my username . Besides- we can use this opportunity to wish for more players, more servers, more mods, and more time to play TM.

In Austin, they have a yearly spam festival-Yeech!

don't press the submit button twice, even if you think it didn't go through. Most likely it did.

You can't get rid of it

Nope - Chemical Engineering Student. Weather man is a character from a radio show - see the old what do names mean post. I am in to astronomy and the shower was something cool happening.
I always thought that meterology was wonderfully complex and it is cool how much closer the predictions are now than when they use sheep's entrails.
Did anybody catch any meteors?
