I'm finally changing my provider, so www.tmvr.de might be down in a couple of days for a couple of days.
Hope to see you at my new "home" soon.

For all who are interested...

early pre-alpha test version now up at http://www.tm-vr.de - and will be up exactly there for at least the next few days, if not weeks.

Please do play around with it and tell me what you do and what you don't like (except that all the links are broken, that's intended.)

well it may lack the atmosphere of the old site design but, it is a whole lot faster. mayhap the gun on the 'spade' tank were inspired by the 'big friendly gun' in doom

coax - which VRML plugin do you use? I recommend Cortona.

Very nice, but it refuses to run under Netscape and Opera.

Do go to Parallelgraphics and download Cortona. I am not sure whether every VRML plugin is going to work with my content or vice-versa.

http://www.tmvr.de is dead - long live http://www.tmvr.de

Actually, my old and new providers finally got that little matter of domain transfer settled between them, so in case you want to see the old site, use http://www.virtualtm.de.vu (for now)

I can get to your site Dreamer, but all it gives me is a background. Nothing on the page or no additional displays. I have the Cortona VRML plugin loaded. Do not know what the problem is. I can see your old site using the link you provided. So do not have a clue what the problem is.

a background?
What do you mean?
grey? white? black with blue raster lines? magenta-cyan checkered rosebuds?

Btw: Which browser do you use? NS causes problems I've been unable to solve yet - Opera apparently simply refuses to display anything.

there should be no problems left now.
use www.tmvr.de or www.tm-vr.de - whichever you like.

just uploaded my current draft version. I think you should all like it. It is a bit on the fps-killer side, but once you turn your headlight off, it should look quite cool.

The midnight's a real test - script reuse will be a common problem for all of you who run or used to run a website...

went and looked the site again. 1st thought when I saw the midnite was cool its in color, tried the description and got hello. then looked at the skimmer, neat he has the textured items textured, then noticed whoops the texture is flipped (left right) wouldn't be noticable if it were not for the bumper sign... I think it is comming along quite nicely aside from a few teething pains. nice job

pains? please specify.

skimmer - fixed.

midnight - that's ok, there is no desc yet, so it will just display something...

sorry forgot you might not catch the metaphor. I just meant that with most new projects there are usually some bugs/problems to work out and, at this early stage, despite any bugs it looks good

The map editor is coming along nicely, too -

the VRML export looks good already, IMHO

In your humble opinion Dreamer the map editor is coming along. IMHO it looks like it is TRULY coming along from the pic. You are to be congratulated on what looks like it will be a truly nice piece of work. Keep it up. You may convert some of those other clan types over to the BWL with that kind of work. Sorry Matrix I know you put in a lot of work also. GOOD GOING DREAMER!!!!!!!!
