Hi all! Been a while since I posted, or played for that matter, I just have a quick question for some of you bright and tallented people...

What are the best cfg settings for internet servers using @Home or any other cable modems?

I can run a server with the default settings, with the exception of 10fps instead of 20 of course, and with 2 or 3 people on it it's fine, but when that 4th or 5th person joins, OOOOOOOOh boy--- Lag City.

Any tweeking advice from the peanut gallery?
Thanks guys, Frag Ya Later

ps. Just noticed that I'm no longer a "NEW" member, Yippie

Set maxrate to 4000 and you should be able to host 5 or 6 players OK. You probably won't get it past that though - cable modems are usually capped at 128kbps up.

What? No ICE! Those of us that played 1.0 want Ice maps!
