Hey people, I have been using the demo with no problems. I have the full version, and performance sucks! How do I get the full install on the hard drive, and not have to keep the cd in while playing? Any performance adjustments?
Thanks

The CD should only be required for game startup validation after installation.

If you selected "PC Godly" as the initial configuration, then your PC may be too slow to handle it.

Try launching Tread Marks again and specify the "Fast (older PCs)" option under the Gfx Configuration.

If the game runs fine using Fast, then exit TM and try Normal. If Normal works, then try Pretty.... Keep going until the game has a balance between looks and playability.

You can configure the graphics options in game, too. Go to Game Options/Graphics.

There is a noticable pause in game play when a new music file is loaded.

Good luck.

Yeah ... what swisher said If the settings are all the same, there is no appreciable difference in frame rate from 1.2 to 1.5.5 (or higher).
