I believe that cell (maybe it was coax) posted something on problems they had with Tread Marks and stuff they wanted... it seems that is the longest post i've ever seen. Also, my name cam from when i was first called Dude (why, don't ask me) by my dad, who also added the 'mas' at the end. Please NOTE: my dad is an utter freak of nature createdfor only tormenting what is left of my soul. There are some names that are a lot more complicated to talk about origin wise, and i don't have time to post about any, sorry, i gotta get a new isp. After i get a new isp, i'll give you a run-down on nick names the likes of which are so original that you'll drop your weenie whistles in the trash and print out a page of my post (yes, i'm exaggerating).------------------ ________________________________________ And the pickles frolicked with the waffles, joyously IP: |

My name is taken from that of one of my favourite artists, Man Ray. He was a member of the DADA movement in Europe in the early 1920's and was a photographer extraordinaire. I did'nt want to completely plaigerize his name, so I strung it together.IP: |

The Weatherman is a character from the Over the Edge Radio program on KPFA, Berkeley, CA. The group that puts it on is called Negativland. There is info on them at www.negativland.com . Here are some RA files from Negativland that are pretty funny: http://www.negativland.com/1-28.ram http://www.negativland.com/2-28.ram -The WeathermanIP: |

Al lot of people think its from the film THE MATRIX but alas no.....The name came from a cartoon character called Enzo Matrix from the cartoon called REBOOT. Its all computer generated stuff and matrix's eye has the (V) logo in it. Reboot is my fave cartoon of all time, a close 2nd is Road Runner -=[/2]=- IP: |

and i thought i was the only one who remembered that cartoon! what was the name of the main guys little watch friend? gidget? widget? somethingorother? i liked that little thing. JVortex was originally Vortex. Vortex was my CB handle that i was dubbed with quite a few years back for reasons i wont go into. when i first signed up for an ISP my username was Vortex and so i tried using that as a username on other things net related as well. i then discovered just how many other people also had that same idea... so, my first name being Jason i just added a J at the beginning and was good to go. recently more often than not (with TM and other games) JVortex is being shortened to just JV, but thats all good too. ------------------ Let the rocks roll and the battle commence. PS in case your wondering, the guardian BOB (Binary OBject) protocol 1.5 designation 452 was rendered entirely in lightwave on pentium 200mmx machines !!! in season 3 they moved to softimage and pixar's Renderware. (multi point full spectral analysis configuration) M-PAc mode.-=[/2]=- IP: |

In case you are all wondering..No it is not from the movie "The Blob". My first name is Robert and in junior high, it was Bob. I was a tad bit over weight (not any more) and got the nick name Blob. I find it an oxy-moron now. IP: |

Hey Matrix, coax, or JVortex - one of you should post this (minus the spam) on your website as a kind of auxiliary bios - makes good reading. I guess a name-meaning box could be put in the bios form too.------------------ The Treadmonkey formerly known as johnsan

I got it from Vlad Tepes. Back in 96, I had just gotten a computer, and a friend of mine ran a local BBS (20 or so users). As it was my first online experience, I hadn't chosen a handle yet. I had just read about Vlad "The Impaler" Tepes a few months before, and thought it was a rather... interesting.. story. Oddly enough, it stuck.IP: |

hey Matrix, have you tried a search on amazon.com for the Reboot DVDs. I heard that they exist, think I have seen evidence of them too. Man that was a great show.oh, my nick is simply a shorter version of one I used to use. Someone pointed out one day online that KV is also a russian tank name. Fits as Claymore is my favorite tank for online play. IP: |

My name actually came originally from a misprint - I was playing Castlvania II and I was entering my name and I accidentally hit u instead of e or b (so you know my real name now too), but I thought it sounded kinda cool, like a martial artist or something - pronounced roe-boo or rob-oo. the one made it sond more robotic, I guess (like Johnny 5 in short circuit, i guess). I would use it in other games as a prefix depending on the type of game like RobuWarrior (like Zulu warrior) or RobuSniper (in a shooter game) It was only until I started playing TM for a while that people started saying "don't rob me one!" when I came on, and I realized that Robu1 could also be pronounced Rob-you-one - implying that I like to rob frags from others. While I have been done this, It is not really what I strive for. Well that's about it for my name. Next querey............does Nemzad do this post thing? If so, I'd like to know what his name is all about. :^)

Well since someone has asked. I do not post much but I do read the forum all the time. I came up with the name Nemzad after beta testing Meridan59 as Daz (and found out there was more than one)so I changed my name to Dazmen. So when I started to play other online games I looked for a unique user name and came up with Dazmen spelled backwards.IP: |
