Okay, I know Matchstick got a copy in Europe, but has anyone actually gotten one domestically? I've checked online to no avail(EBworld, Amazon, etc.) I haven't had the time to hit the mall lately so I don't know if it's only available in certain geographical locations. I'm not too worried about it right now, just curious.

geez - AAAGame hasn't even updated their web page with TM's release date...

what other marketing stuff is happening/planned? have copies been sent out to game reviewers? are any new reviews planned? and what about opengl.org... there should be a listing of the new release on their site!

LDA, do you want to post the email contact at AAA here, so we can email them our concerns, support & offers for help?

We are aware of this slowness and therefore are contacting websites ourselves to get the game known.

TM will be reviewed shortly by the following web sites though:
The Daily Radar
Voodoo Extreme

Hmmm...lets see...he is the person handling (I believe) marketing at AAA...and this thread is about people wondering where TM is and where its reviews are...

I'll let you decide what do do with that e-mail. I'm still trying to help them figure out how to run a dedicated server...I just can't figure out why they can't read the instructions! How hard is it to run a dedicated server? JL? Kaeto? Anyone?

i beleive you would have to be born a moron if you couldn't run a server. TM makes it so easy, its like one click. Although race servers are hard to make.

As of the last e-mail I sent off they still didn't know what operating system was needed...

And yes...we have decided that their IT department are morons between this and their lack of switching from Demo 1.0 to Demo 1.5 for, oh, close to two months!

If I just had the cash for a 512/1.5 DSL line, I'd be running a nice TM server 24/7.

and I'd be playing it 7/24, and getting alllllllllll of my friends to go buy 1.5 and join the chaos!

actually, it should be 7x24, or 24x7, but that's just my background. They're samey-same to me. It's all in how you interpret.

In other words, I know you think you understood what you thought you heard me say, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I really meant.

ZZZZzzzzzzzzzz

What say we just let this one die. All in favor, don't reply. Good.

How about just 168/week and be done with it!

Meaningless content? I thought this discussion on 24/7 vs 24x7 vs 7/24 vs 7x24 vs 168/week was actually full of content...

hehe

Kaeto: "Are you suggesting something?"

yes, i am suggesting that we email this dude & encourage AAA to do this thing right!

and, very important - please don't start your email with "hey AAA what are you, a bunch of morons?"!

let's show support & enthusiasm for Seumas' great game, & help them market this thing the best that they can!

<edit> peeeto wants to play/edit treadmarks 24/7
and 24/7 = 3.42857142857142857142857142857...
so there.<\edit>

Peeeeeto has a very good point there. Be inthusiastic if you want something done...

- - - - - - - - -

Peeto: you just had to compicate this 24/7 thing didn't you

24/7 =/= 7/24 =/= (7x24 = 24x7) here's why:
24/7 = 3.42857142857142857142857142857143
7/24 = 0.291666666666666666666666666666667
24x7 = 168
7x24 = 168

Are we through now

Call me the expert at e-mail campaings. been doing them for over a year trying to get B5-ITF saved. The things that work the best.
Well thought out, no/few spelling/gramatical errors. Be very polite. (Don't yell, name, bash etc).

Good luck!
