Okay, i have hope that someone can help me here... i need to be able to reprogram my controller to make keyboard commands. I have a M$ controller that my sister got me for a birthday (Obviously, i would have NEVER bought it, but my sister knows little of what she just supported) and the cruddy thing is programmable but I can't drive with it while i'm playing, it just annoys the @#$^%^(&! out of me, and i won't take it at all. I have another controller from Mouse Systems, and it is pretty doggone good for the price and quality it is (which is supposed to be less than the M$ one). Heheh, kinda silly, isn't it? I mean, M$ makes a OS that doesn't operate but has 'features', an internet browser that doesn't browse but has 'features', and a controller that doesn't control but has 'features'. What the @$^$&(^~ is next? Anyhoo, i need something that interprets the controller signals into keyboard stuff...

Try RbJoy at http://chicago.supersharewareman.com/Apps/1982.asp or JoyMouse at
http://download.mycomputer.com/detail/64/61.html

Both of these utilities convert joystick/pad button presses into key strokes.
