i have some pretty good ones from me and JL's server for flying tanks and when we tried airstrikes with 120 ammo each, get a cookie dough power-up for one of those, and you'll have 360 shots which ultimately fill the sky almost solidly with bombs, especially when the launch count is upped to 20, bwahahahahahahahahahhhahhahahah

Get a free website at www.spree.com .

This site has pretty good instructions on how to upload a file. Then, simply reference that file using the [I M G]http://members.spree.com/funngames/forcers/Cruise.jpg[/ I M G] tag.

My user-ID is forcers, but yours could be dudymas.

DX-Ball has free sites now, too.

You have to convert the captured images into .jpg format. I use Paint Shop Pro for this, but I'm sure there are free paint and/or conversion programs available.

here's a shareware program to convert .gif's, .avi's, etc. into .mpg's:
http://www.gromada.com/VideoMach.html
(only 1.12 MB)

i've used the previous version, "fast movie processor" and it worked great.
i didn't realize that it had been updated, so i just dl'd the file and will try it out.
i don't know if the new version has any limits on the unregistered program -
"fast movie..." didn't.

right the first 1 has the best pic of the flag (variation of the family's coat of arms) and the 2nd(0051) is a pic grabbed from the rolling demo (part of a sequence)

well folks, there it is! that picture tells ya all you need to know about the Hell Server!

that, and your FPS goes down to about 0.1 !

LOL - i don't remember if i actually captured that screenshot or if i got it from RC. 'sigh'... those were the good 'ol days!

thanks for posting that, hawk!

I belive RC took that shot. He showed it (and about 20 others) to me the next day.
Oh, and note : Your FPS loss isn't QUITE as bad as peeet might have you think. I can actually keep playing right through hell on my machine, but my old P233 can't quite keep up
If any of you ever see a hell server up, PLAY ON IT!
Maybe tommorow night, Hawk, you can host?

THAT's right... i did get it from RC!

heh heh... my FPS was soooooooooooo bad because that was back when i had my ATI card
and couldn't use hardware accel.

BTW, hawk - i've tried on 2 different computers, and the image does not show up,
only the 'X' in a box. i can get the image to show if i open the link in a separate
browser window first, then it will always show...

anyone else having this problem? here, i'll test the image command (now disabled not to show automatically)
[I M G]http://members.fortunecity.com/effdee/mr_smiley_in_hell.jpg[/ I M G]

[EDIT:]
nope. i closed the browser and cleared the cache and neither pic showed up,
but swisher's first one did... is he better than us?
ok - i'll disable the link now so the BBS page doesn't get too big...

It's FC. They don't allow you to link straight out of their webservers from an image, it has to run through a 'filter' type thing first. If you rightclick on it and hit 'View Image', it'll take you to some page that says 'Click to view image'
