I loaded these drivers, ran ok, turned on anti-aliasing & ran ok at 640 x 480, turned anti-aliasing back off & reverted to 1024 x 768. That's when I started having problems. Windows kept giving me illegal operation errors & bombing out after 10 - 15 seconds of gameplay. Completely removed any traces of NVidia from the registry, reloaded 5.08 & everything is fine now. Anybody else had this problem? (Win 98, Annihilator Pro, 128 MB, Demo version - yes i'm going to buy the full version come payday!). Thanks.

I think it's a bug in TM. I have a totally different chipset/etc, (Savage2000) and TM is horribly unstable at 1024x768... Most of the time it doesn't even get to the game, it hangs at "creating entities"

What do you mean "bug" ....

Those 5.13 drivers are unsupported developer drivers....best avoid them for now.

A friend, who is a licensed Nvidia developer, will be checking them out for us and reporting back to Nvidia.

I hear you, LDA. I will wait 'till I hear back from you. And Kaeto, 3.68 runs very stable at 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024 (15 FPS), even 1600 x 1280 (Slideshow).

In my experience with the 5.14 detonator drivers that just leaked, I've had some anomalies when turning anti-aliasing on and then off again, but if you leave the tweaks alone, there is a quite significant FPS boost over the 3.xx rev. I'm in Win2k also, and it's generally much more stable as long as you dont mess with anything.

Tried the 5.13 again last night, ran very stable, but at a 15 - 20% FPS LOSS compared to 5.08. They also ran about 30% slower on Descent 3 Secret 2 Demo loop.

Hmm... I just reinstalled an old set of drivers and I think it's just the new ones that have that problem... So you can forget what I said...
