Got tired of "Page 2"
---------------------

Heres what I plan in terms of weapons for the Choas server when I return:

Ramdrill (Standard, but not common and lower ammo)
Machine Gun
Laser
Swarmer
R-Grenades (no nukes attached! )
MRLs
Concussions
Shadow Keepers
Wasps
Air Strike
Nuke (modified with a crater rim)
Matter Bomb
Normal Tank Gun
Cruise Missile
Flammer
Plasma Mines
Plasma Cannon
GAU (commonly know also as Avenger)
[And now for the non-standard weapons!]
Orbital Laser (even better then the Cruise Missile!)
Plasma Pulser (as Hawk calls the Mining Ramdrill)
EMP Shockwave (the former Mine mod)
Spire Maker

A posibility if I have time:
-- Shadow Mine (basically, combine a mine with a spewer entity launching the shadow keeper blasts which home...)

Oops - missed a weapon - hope I got them all since I'm doing this from memory. I will be using the basic TM Demo and adding the extra weapons to it. Hope we have the match after I can server, otherwise, does anyone else have a good server that is not SUPER GRAVITY like Thunder Dome that will be up for this?

Magma Spew is used on the Volcano level.

As for the Ram Drill, wait till you see the improved Ram Drill in the Shareware Demo (out soon, putting finishing touches on it now).

FYI, the Shareware Demo probably won't have Entity Type Synching, so it will behave the same as Test 2.1 as far as changing and adding new entity types goes. The Full Version has complete user customization enabled, including automatic temporary synching of entity type (.ent) files from the server to the clients.

Wanted everyone to know, the Shadow Mine is complete - I just need to test it after the demo comes out - unfortunately the 2.1Beta doesn't support everything needed to test it!

Now, just need to know - should I add a Magma Mine and Armaggedon Mine and others? I really could be cruel if I made the Armaggedon Mine be multi-ammo on a time delay to start with a chance of spewing a additional Armaggedon Mines...heh heh heh!

Don't mind my insanity...its fairly common.

Umm.... The 8'th is ok for me... But my monitor is busted and goes off every few seconds (Damnit, this was a good monitor too (it's a 15 inch gateway I have on the Athlon I built...))

Umm... Let's see... Joystick is analog, giving MUCH better aiming abilities than KB... Why the HECK would you play TM with the board... it BITES!

FYI, my joystick is 2 axis 2 button... VERY short throw, and I broke the X axis restraint so I could steer freer...

THE HELLL!!!! How did this post get in here....!!!!

Oh, I guess I typed into the wrong box... LOL!!!

Any time in the later evening should be good for us. I was playing on Thunderdome last night and had a blast with their weapon mods.

The ninth is not that good for me... only time I can be sure I'll be here is 8:00 to 9:00 and even that is iffy... the 8'th is much better...

Updates on my weapons mods:

  • Shadow Mine - needs work (mostly due to the positions of the mine itself).
  • Spire Maker - DONE
  • Plasma Pulser - Almost done, just need to change the texture on the projectile (ack, used the Shadow's IonBolt! oops!)
  • Nuke with crator rim - should work, but have to test now on the demo (worked on the Beta).
  • EMP Shockwave - JUST PLAIN GREAT
  • Orbital Laser - I have yet to see it spawn

Think I got them all - the effects are great though.

-------

I may also not be able to play Sat Night, but I will try - if I do, it will be on my server, so see you there!

- Orbital Laser - er, I hope so...
- Nuke (double crater) - er, I hope so...I had a bug in naming so I couldn't test properly.
- Shadow Mine - DONE (I think)
- Swarmer - DONE
- EMP Shockwave - DONE

I'm all for it...

I can say that as of today, TC Temporalisis and TC Inspector Gadget have the full version and TC Hawk should have it by the end of the week.

The question is, should we go with a full version or a demo server?

And who'd join? BWL? LDA? GP?

We need to get a list going so we know how many people to expect.

full version!

count peeet in! (if it's not just for clan play!)

and, once the list is started, let's also keep track of who has custom meshes/skins and what we all need to do in order to be able to see them correctly...
