I should sue you for infringing on my IP! I just remembered that I wrote a 2d 1 on 1 tank game on my 286 2 years ago LOL It had a deformable landscape too: trees that you could blow up. Kinda funny, I played it and in a wierd sorta way it plays like Tread Marks minus the turning turret.

On a 286? Heh, I'd like to see that.

Well the background was mostly static, and I cached all the graphics (It was amazingly fast for a game written in BASIC LOL) Like I said, it was 2d.

Sounds like it was neat. You sould have seen the 2d Tank RPG I wrote for my final in Programming II (it was written in True Basic, on a Mac). It ran medium fast, and crashed if you over killed the last boss by 100pts. And the graphics were p.o.s. But other than that it was cool(not to mention it got me a B+ in the class). Any One else Play the "Tiny Tank" game on the Play Station? If not, lay hands on the demo just for the intro fmv (very very very funny).

well thats all for this,
