This card really moves pixels! Yesterday we tried Tread Marks on the G400 at 1600x1200x32-bit with Trilinear filtering, a view distance of a full kilometer, and 6,000 tri terrain, and it was actually playable! The same resolution produces more of a slide show on other cards, though I haven't tried the TNT2-Ultra yet.

This is a BIG improvement over the G200.

I have a TNT2 and it runs great for me. I just turn down the terrain detail all the way, and leave it on high quality. Maybe in the next version you can include a timedemo mode, and we can all send in our scores. Maybe make a CGI for it

I get like 30fps in 800x600x32 with everything on and 10 terrain detail.

Hmm. Personally I have found that nothing can touch the g400 at 1280X1024 up. (just wish that I could keep all the machines I build for people )
