Will there be any CD-checks or something in the game so you have it have the CD inserted?

I hope not, I think it is a pain to not be able to play without CD.
Sure, you are worried about piracy, but I dont think a cd-check inside game will do any difference, it will be cracked anyway.

So, for us that are going to pay for Treadmarks, no cd-check, please?

We'll see...

I agree it's probably mostly pointless, considering the speed with which programs are hacked these days. There may be a CD check for single player games, but maybe not.

In the end we have to rely on the honesty of our customers anyway.

I like the idea of making you need the CD for single player but not mutli. Make it so that you can join but not host games without a CD like activisions games

If the game is popular then the CD-Check system will be broken rather quickly... a CD-KEY system is O.K. Like starcraft, but NOT like Half-Life. I dont play half-life anymore because of WON.net and their lameness.
