my wife and i want to play RBT together on our home network... does this require puchasing it twice?

No, the license included with RBT allows you to install the game on multiple personal computers within the same household. You can use the same registration information on both computers.

If you wish to play online through LDA's game room you will be limited to 5 logins between both of you. You can also setup your own local game room to play just with each other. As far as signal quality and preformance goes, it should be the same whether you go through our server or your own as the two computers will communicate directly with each other either way.

I'm missing something. There didn't seem to be a way to play on a local network. It seemed like you connected to the internet and created a "private" game. Is there another way to connect two computers on a local network? I'd rather not expose my kids to the remote site and open them up to chat session, etc. They love the game by the way.
