Have just installed dxb2bds3full.exe to top up dxb2game-125.exe and dxb2bd1.exe.

Now the sound effects are distorted.

Any ideas please?

Installing an additional Board-Pack shouldn't have any efect on the sound, but you can make some adjustments....

Go into the config.cfg file in the DXBall2 folder. It's a text file....so open it with "Note Pad".

You can set the PlaybackBits = 8 or PlaybackBits = 16 and set ForceWaveOut = 0 to ForceWaveOut = 1

You can also disable the audio in there.
