Close DX-Ball2, then use Windows Explorer to go to the /DXBall2 folder on your hard drive, in a default installation it will sit under the Program Files folder.
In the /DXBall2 folder you will find a file called config.cfg, it is a plain text file, so open it with Notepad.
Edit the line that reads "DisableAudio = 0" to read "DisableAudio = 1", save the file and restart DX-Ball 2.
