I'm new to posting on the bulletin board, but I've been an avid fan of DX Ball for a good period of time. I have all of the "official" board sets and greatly enjoy the game... so much so that I jumped at the chance to own Rival Ball.

Having the netplay ability is a great factor in my eyes, but when I tried to netplay with a second computer in my home, something strange happened.

I set it up and it connected via IP address, one computer is connected via cable modem, the other via AOL on a 56k connection. Both "players" were connected. It said "waiting for (Player Name)" on each computer and then immediately bounced to the high scores screen.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Otherwise, Rival Ball is a great game and I hope to see some expansion board packs in the future, as I've already completed 80 of the 150 boards included with the game!
