Rival is a nice enough upgrade, & I will probably go ahead & get the full version, but I thought that I remembered LDA Jim saying we could look forward to a board editor (even a limited one)in the next version. Maybe I am just wishing.

I too was looking for a board editor with the update. ((Rival Ball) but not to be)..Plus, The 'Network Connection' is very hard to set up and confusing. I purchased the full game, and enjoy playing it, but, in my option, Rival Ball was released to soon. ( for the price I would of expected a board editor and a 'Network Connection' that was easier to set up and play)
When asked about improving the 'Network Connection' LDA/Jim replied with, And I quote
"For now, we'll monitor Rival Ball but be focussing our development efforts back to the PlayStation 2

Jim"
