There seems to be some posts missing. Is there a problem with this site?

Sometimes LDA will remove posts from the message board. I think I've only had one post removed.

But 3 of the topics deleted were started by me. one of the topics was for your web site scores.dxball.org. another was about a board editor (and had no replys) and the other was about version 1.2 vs. 1.25 (and had some good posts.) I was hoping LDA (or someone) would email me with an explanation of why the topics were deleted.

You're right! I just noticed that they had been removed.

Jim,
If you could, could you please give us a reasoning behind the removal of the topics that have been getting many posts lately?

This is getting ridiculous. Will someone at LDA take the 'delete' key away from Jim. This is suppose to be a 'Bulletin Board/Forum'. I can see Posts being removed because of 'bad' language, talking about 'hacking the program' or 'illegal' DxBall web sites. But the posts that are being deleted are just asking questions that alot of us would like answers to. For some reason, LDA thinks that if the questions are deleted, the question/problem will go away..I've found that is not true, all it does is raise more questions and problems.

They've removed all the posts that have scores.dxball.org in them. I wonder if this one will be deleted.

Okay...I didn't see that there. I've got a headache right now so I didn't really look.

So, Jim is LDA..What we have is
'Absolute power corrupting Absolutely'
BUT.. There must be someone that can take the 'delete' key away from him.. Someone that will listen to us.!!! (the customer)

I'm a customer.

well Grim, if you behave I'm sure Jim won't have to delete your posts. I don't think Jim has a trigger happy delete finger. This is a very sad month for LDA, so lay off. I've never lost anyone close to me, so i can't even imagine how it would feel.

On a happier note, I like your site Grim, I'll add a link to it from my site.

Coax,
I think your post was meant for me. (Amiga) I'm the one that had 3 posts deleted, and mentioned the 'delete key'.

"it was more of a general post"
maybe you should look up the word 'general'..never mind, i'll do it for you.

general: adj. Involving only the main features rather than precise details

For clarification purposes and Amiga's sanity. I was not mentioning Grim in my post. I only mentioned Jim, and "meant" for people to stop bugging him. I get protective, but I guess he's a big boy and can defend his actions himself.

To show theres no hard feelings I'll put my patented coax smile on.
