I just wondered what it means when you all of a sudden get sparks every time the ball hits the paddle.

And,I read on another message that board pack #1 needs upgraded. I just bought that pack and #'s 2&3 also. Does that mean that I need to get an upgrade for #1? If so, how/where do I get it?

Board-pack #1 since June 2000 is fine.
