DX is one of those classics, simple to play, yet hours and hours of addictive fun.
My question : does anybody know of any GOOD and REGULARLY UPDATED sites that publish highscore results. If so, could you indicate the one(s) you like best ?
Thanks for your time.

There's the DX-Ball 2 World League:
http://www.telekabel.nl/sprinter/arnos/dxball2champ/

It looks to be pretty well updated.

I don't know of any DX-Ball 1 high score lists, but there must be a few.

Yes Seumas, I know that one (since you can reach it from LDA's homepage).

But it hasn't been updated since august 4th...maybe they're on holiday :-)

Thanks anyway

Sorry, I guess I wasn't sure what you meant by "regularly updated".

The HighScores @ http://dxball.org are updated as soon as they are submitted.

Hurry while there is still a chance to beat them ;-)

Zak, OK, but did you compare the highscores on both lists ? I think the real competition is going on in the World League, not on DXBall.org.

But what the heck, I'll send in my scores, OK ?

If you are looking for some DX-Ball competitive high scores you may wish to check out www.playmachine.net. A special edition of DX-Ball 2 with a new level pack has been created for the site and the scores are automatically uploaded and displayed on the site. Also, on-going video game competitions will offer prizes for high scores.

I hope you like the site. I'd love to hear any feedback.

Sincerely,

http://dxball.org is still a very young site.
If you check the scores again you will see that they are getting higher very fast.
Since the site was reviewed in Lockergnome traffic has increased quite a bit.

I stand corrected. The (now updated) scores at DXBALL.ORG are very high. Compared to the World League, they are highest in 5 out of the 14 officially released boardsets. The World League scores highest in 6 of them. This means that there are 3 boardsets with status quo, but from different players ! ? ! ? !

Still, I sent in some scores (that are still highest) but they're not in the list. I guess players from Belgium are excluded from the competition. :-)

I still have to look at the playmachine.net

Bye all

Karel

I've received an E-mail from the webmaster over at the World League, saying he's sorry about the lack of updates, he's very busy at his job (now there's an argument I respect).

He'll try to update this weekend.

I don't really think anyone is excluded from the HighScores Page @ http://dxball.org

Perhaps the email didn't make it.

If you beat the high scores just send in your score files.

Some have just sent in the scores without a file to verify.

Keep busting bricks!! Dxball ROCKS ;-)

Thanks Zak. And yes, my scores finally found their way into the list. Great feeling to have your name up there, isn't it ?

On your DX-Ball site you have a link to the DX-Ball 2 World League.

Why not include the one to http://dxball.org ? The scores are updated daily. (the World League still hasn't changed since august 4.......)

Thanks
