Well...no.If you look at any of the tree ent files you will see that it uses the img files and not the bmp files. quote: Texture = Trees/tree5B.img
To edit the img file, use the DXImage program. In the DXImage program, you can copy multiple images fairly easily. Just rename the file and use that. Also to have the trees defoliate use the defoliation command: ExploDefol = quote:
Use the "Trunk" variable to set the radius of the tree's trunk. The default will probably be 0.5 meters, for a diameter of 1 meter.Use "ExploDefol" and "ExploKill" strings to set the type of Explo entity used for defoliation and for tree death.

Well...got DXimage program. Increase each of the trees img by 4, therefore there were 5 of each one which truns out to be 20 altogether. Went in TMapper, resaved the trees at different ID's. Started up TM and inspected the 3 test trees set at different ID#. It registered the increase ID's. That was good knowing that I had done that correctly. Then proceeded to run into them and they all pop as easy a the normal stock ones.So...this exercise did not increase the durability of the trees. Does anyone understand how to increase the durability of the trees? I do not think increasing the images has anything to do with the durability of the trees. Unless someone can proof me wrong. IP: |

I am still very interested in how to make trees more durable. I have the rock mesh from Kong. But I want trees that can take 2-3 hits before it explodes. Anymore hints? IP: |
