KONG: Matrix has said that from the beginning, and I've been considering that the whole time...But I do not think it is wise for me to make a dictatorship out of something called the "LoneWolf Alliance", first of all. I think that the remaining members of LWA are people who are somewhat committed to lonewolf status [this is not to say that Paranor and the Weatherman were not; I understand that situations and people change....And the LWA philosophy provides that they are able to leave as they please]. I think that making it into a traditional ("real") clan would take the wind out of their sails and they would simply leave. I'd be left with a clan full of.....myself, which incidentally would be the same as being a lonewolf.  Also, so long as there are two active clans in this community, I wouldn't want to be involved with making another traditional clan because it would only be competing with the other two for already scarce membership resources. LWA feeding into BWL membership does not bother me as of right now; my other page 4 posts were meant to be taken jovially. However, if this does indeed become a problem (i.e. if we continue to lose players at such a rate) I will consider dismantling the LWA because it will have proven itself only to be a youth-camp for future clan members--I am more interested in players like myself, who don't plan on joining anything until the situation changes. But for now, everything is still A-ok with me. In the world of clans, the LWA is the mom-and-pop corner store, and as long as there are still people shoppin', I'll keep lightin the lights and sweepin the floors. KONG, don't mention it--you didn't make me mad. I just felt the need to speak my mind and confront this situation before people got the wrong ideas. I was hoping that someone would convince me to like them, I still must say that my obstinance hasn't allowed me to try one to know about them FOR SURE. BUT, if a good friend tells me good reasons why he likes them that satisfy what I believe are problems with them, I'd almost definitely go with it (I say almost because there's always those days where people put guns to your head to keep you from saying yes or no... )IP: |

I understand the reason why LWA wants to keep its un-clan status - It is a great way to allow non clan people to take part in clan (read TEAM) battles. If you do diecide to make a more formal clan, may I suggest a name - the LWA Allstars ------------------

I'm still around, homies. I'm just horrendously out of practice thx to DII:LOD. Damn that game-LOL! Actually, work's been suckin'(but I quit last night so things should get better) and I've been spendin' way too much time sleeping and eating -might be movin' soon, too. I'll wear the tag when I can get on, Neo. Hope to show up for the DDM if I can. Sorry I haven't been around more. I have been checkin' the board every couple days so I have some idea of what's goin' on. I miss all my crazy Tread Heads...lol.------------------

karldar is fine he just has new interests now . once he realizes what a mistake he's made he will learn how to play the game. neo, don't worry your not a dictator ... just a fascist... or are they interchangeable ??? lone wolf alliance??? call it what it should be called Wolfenstein SS panzer division . has a nice ring...lets face it this is not only a 1st person shooter but also has some rpg elements to it.IP: |
