I see you're one of them "quoters", how original. I might as well have fun with that too, since you decided to open that can of worms.

I did get the drift of what you were saying, my mastery of the english language is quite good. However, none of what you said disproved any of my statements. Nor down-playing an insult makes it any less of an insult. (Yes, I did see the "I wasn't talking about you" post, to which I respond, then why was it posted in the first place, written as a dialog. If it wasn't "about me" then who was it about Pabs? You seem to have an axe to grind on someone, it sure is hell ain't me since I never did anyhting to you.)

Sorry for poking fun at a typo (apparently, you didn't see the smiley next to it, I guess you "didn't get my drift").

quote:
I wish to take you to task on your "un-called for" remark about "personel-racial-ethnic" stero profiling..I don't know where your comming from but you had better get a road map find your way back, that statement has a smoking gun behind it "pal".

You made a sweeping statement that is as stupid as the ones I listed "pal". No smoking gun there, but seems again you didn't "get my drift".

How does "negative" mean "have greater knowlege about who what and where than nebbies"? What dictionary do you find that definition? It sure isn't in mine, nor on dictionary.com.

I'm sorry, but calling someone a sore looser, without having even played with them online is an insult. Do *you* get "my drify pal"?

Also, I honestly donot care if people "applaud me" or not. I'm not that type. I put my work out there for people to use or not to use. The problem was that certain individuals whom were too cowardly to reveal thier identity, were harrasing me and my wife when we were online, because they didn't like logscan. *that* is what made me stop any form of developmental work for TM, not because people didn't "applaud me". So I only use my LogScanning system on my servers alone.

And the funny thing is, I honestly am not taking any of this personally. Since I honestly donot care about what Pabs nor you have to say about me. But I *will* defend myself.

Do you "read me loud and clear" Viper-II?

jeepers, LOL, All this because I gave Matrix a reason why I don't want to bring back LogScan. This is just too damn funny.

Sorry for the belated response Coax. I was distracted.

"I was the Fragmaster for quite some time on Joey's software ranking system.

I know you are not stupid "pal" niether am I, but you have a funny way of backing out of your statements, I guess that your suprior intellect uh?
However on a lighter note{I'll drop my sarcasm} you and many of the TM players are bright kids, when some one takes a word out of context one should ask to clarify what one ment by the statement or word!
Dam you guys having been chewing the fat for a long time you would think by now most would have some insight as to the others satements..don't you think so?
As far as meaning of words I use them in a pure sence, I seldom put a word to paper with out knowing or feeling how it will be interpreted. Now if you want a detail meaning of the word negative, I'll write a book for you on the word!
If I offended you in any way than I shall appoliges, for any thing I said. That never was my intent ! Your still a ok guy..Happy NEW YEAR !

I vaguely remember being a kid ... once ... I think ...

loooooooong time ago.

But Viper, I believe you and I chatted about this during a game once, and I am your elder, for sure. Only Sailor, to my knowledge, is my senior in terms of elder statesmen playing TM.

And I agree with Rixy, few, if any "kids" playing the game. Nemzad's son, Shadow, is among the few, but he's rarely seen. I'm thinking Paranor's kids may have played occasionally. Or maybe they were Aragon's? Not sure. Long time ago.

Do you mean kid by a child or a teenager, because I fit in the category for teenager, for I am 14 years old...

LOL. He called me "Kid". Anymore assumptions you want to make there Viper?

Also, I never backed out of any of my statements. Maybe thats why you think its a funny way? You're the one who tried to twist my statements around, even though I was quite clear about how those are "sweepingly stupid statements", on par with saying someone is "negative" just because they're playing longer than you were. And go ahead a write a book on the word 'negative'. I'd love to hear it, since you seem to speak a different version of english than I do. Saying that someone has a negative attitude is an insult. I'd also like to hear why you don't thing calling someone a sore looser is not an insult (regardless of who it was aimed at) as well.

And no, I never took anything "out of context". Pab's message was aimed at me quite clearly. The only one who did the was you, when you tried to make me look like a racist by implication.

BTW, an appology isn't worth anything when you use it to end a fame. Besides, you're not the problem. You're only defending a clan mate that said something stupid.

Killr a apolgy is a confirmation of some one's feelings towards another, I don't give a "dam" if it's in the front back middle it's still a apolgy. I am very sorry you have difficulty accepting that !..Keep in mind I only use the word once !

"KIDS" another word taken out of context, meaning younger than I as my elders refer to us young guys.! Now if you TM's where born before 08-14-1940 than I'm the kid ok...which I don't mind it at all!

Again in the statement I did pay a compliment that you kids where "bright". "POSTIVE terms, seemed to go by the way side in this forum !

With deep regrets I am very sorry that I insulted you "ADULTS" by using such a derogatory term, one must remember how sensative TM players are....have a good day gentelman and ladies ! NRM {I do hope I don't get any "flack" from those terms !}

Viper: I don't care if you're sorry or not, since it is Pablito that offended me. You decided to pop in to defend him and have been nothing but condecending to me. For no reason other than trying to try to make me look like I was out of line for my comment on pablito's comment, which I was not. Just because you jumped in doesn't change the fact that Pab's comment was out of line, neither does your sarcastic and condescending attitude. Nor does saying I'm "sensitive" change that fact. I was going to let the subject go until you decided to popin, claiming your teammate said nothing wrong. Sorry, I'm not going to run away nor take anything back, because I'm not the one in the wrong here. No matter how hard you try to paint it.

I don't know you, nor do you know me, so calling me a "Kid" is just plain rude. Nothing taken out of context there, expecially when your posts were sarcastic, condescending, or both.

You stick complements in the middle of such condescending posts, and you expect me to be greatful? You're out of your mind there chief.

If 1940 was not a typo, then it was not you with whom I chatted about age in-game one day. That individual is in his mid-40s.

You've got me by just over a decade, and you just might take the 'crown' from Sailor too.

Viper takes the crown - I am just a mere 59+ years old, but punch cards, I wrote programs on them back in the 70's so on that I am right in there with the old gents. Also remember having to wire circuit boards to make sorting equipment sort in different formats... LOL now that was some painstaking work...

I DO recall the punch card era-yes-what a pain in the butt!!
Never got into it that much--mostly did it for fun to help with other classmates who never could figure it out..what a blast!!
If that's dating oneself--well--there I am!

I once made (and still have somewhere) an 80-column punch card with EVERY hole punched out. I'd occasionally slip it into a buddy's object deck, and hilarity would ensue. (ok, so we got our jollies in stupid ways.)

Edit: I guess I should point out that this card would cause the processing of the particular program to come to a screeching halt, and leave the hapless victim (the programmer) to figure out what went wrong.

Wow!

Five server crashes and one LanRover meltdown later, sprinkled with the doctor hasn't a clue and I see the old well of ire and recrimination still hasn't run dry.

Happy New Year ThetaXi, had to go all the way to the beginning of the post to remember what it was about.

Irascible hope you get enough going to find a willing/honest apprentice who won't steel your clients as an independent (sadly, I've seen it too many times).

Matrix hold what you got, it definitely gets better. It better!

WolfMan hope to see you playing more than one at a time.

Grandma gave me punchcards to play with when I was two; it was easier to clean up than charcoal (been there), sugar (done that) and telephones ('and then I hit him').

Killier many in the community hold your contributions in very high regard or you'd be commenting alone and you are just about the only player in the game I've ever heard Matrix defend so rigorously(sp) and thoughtful (weak sentence but well intentioned). Hope that one day the teflon will return and a change of heart comes with it. Can't apologize for offenses not mine. Wishing you peace is the best I can offer.

6^3 and Sue a deserved thank you; him for coordinating, her for putting up with him.

To LDA may I say, thank you thank you!

To thems as is old, new, young or you, Happy New Year to ya!

Hehehe

Happy New Year Vortex!

Punch cards. I had to use them in High School and College.

My fav trick is to put a little wad of gum under a key or two on the punch machine. Then watch as the person using it trys fraptically to stop the machine gun cards. LOL

Nice reply Vor.

For the record (as though anyone gives a crap ), IF a client of mine can be stolen then they should be stolen. Anyone that can't see the sheer genius inherent to my craftsmanship deserves the imitator that they get.

Now THAT'S bravado. Heh.
