It is possible that some (1, 2, 3, Herare[?sp]) of the many time related robo works are making their rounds through the IP ranges and have gotten around to 38.xxx.xxx.xxx. USU I have a slew of MSSQL port 445 drops at the the beginning of the month, then I get LM drive/resource mapping drops, then I get hit with various subvert remote control hacks.Interestingly enough, the number of actual port scans has gone down over the last few months but, I expect that to change after Christmas when the wannabe script kiddes get their new computers for the year. ------------------ Echoes from the Void = You can kill them, but you cannot make them surrender - http://www.vordesigns.com/tm

Vor, wtf did you type? j/k... port scanning, new hackers// luckily I'm not in the corporation environment. ah wait; that's bad. In a better note, didn't have lag in the last 2 days but the usual spikes... but a great turn out at 3:00am! Eastern time.IP: |

If youre behind a NAT router, and close any port forwarding maps when youre done, you should be quite safe from port attacks.IP: |

For me it's the outbound traffic I worry about more; yeah drop all unsolicited inbound is a given. It's once you've been subverted that it gets spooky.IP: | |
