Maybe it helps if I spell it out...
THETAXI = Theta + Xi my beloved and missed fraternity (They don't have a chapter over here in Miami). And yes, I was aware that when put together it reads "the + taxi". Theta Xi Taxi.
I am Beta Xi 395 of the Theta Xi Fraternity.

Theta XI... fraternity for/of...?Coax: Didn't I say i cry twice over Hamlet...? doesn't that sound like I liked it?... never mentioned not appreciating Shakespeare... if anything is one of my favorites.. the issue was the level of comprehension after reading the book

I'm sorry, but I will never respect frats. I hate them. Wanna know why? Okay, here's a story you might have trouble topping.My roomie came in from a frat at 3 am. His friend was sleeping on the floor. I was sleeping already, but woke for a few seconds enough to see my roomie go to sleep instantly. I was actually having my first ever immersive dream about dragons. It had a deep plot and all I could go on and on about, and I was so kicking some serious butt, but no... it had to happen... SQUEAK!

I turn to see my roomie slipping around. It's 4 am. Then, he takes off his clothes, and starts mopping the floor with his underwear. That's when it hits me.....

He had peed all over the floor. Nothing was spared... under the fridge, over the xbox (like I really cared though... it was his anyways, but I started enjoying vice city).
He was so drunk, he just kept trying to wipe the floor with his feet and his undies, slipping and falling over and over. I turned over, trying to wipe the nightmare from my eyes..... Must... go back.... to beautiful... glorious..... butt-kicking dream...... but then his friend said," DUDE! You <explitives> pissed all over me and my belt is RUINED! You were going at it for like TWO MINUTES!" It was hopeless.
The reek of alcohol was so bad, I'm sure if there had been a spark we would have all died in a massive explosion... and I'm DEAD SURE that the floor was disinfected from all the ethyl alcohol. That was the first night I believed in two things.
a) God actually cared about my computer bag (I distinctly remember being mentally forced into clearing the ground for my roomie's friend so he could sleep. I did a better job than I thought I ought to).
b) Parents are AWESOME! They bought me a wet swiffer a week or so ago and gave it to me, even though I thought we'd never need it. I should have worn a cape or something. I was such a hero (we never admit our parents made it happen. That's not fun!). still... a frat ruined my weekend, one of the best dreams I can still remember, and my sense of smell. So, I'm going to put it lightly: Frat people need to spontaneously combust with their lame logos and mediocre <insert more flaming here> and above all <flame flame... flammity flame flame>. Hmmph! I don't think you even need a Frat for all that, most of college students do it "in a weekend basis"... but some Frats will revolve around: DUDE!!!! I'm so wasted.. huh huh.. cool!....oh yeah! I'll kick your ass if you mispell or mispronounce my Frat letters: delta.gama.phlem.bem.beta...(not that they know what they stand for)...
LOL. Gotta love those spoil rich kids... But there are real Frats... like the Psychology one (PSYCH is it?) that I enquire about once, but I think their weekend activities is to look each other in a round table and write down all psychological traumas and tentative environmental agents that may have called those traits... And don't forget the math frats..... .... can you find the tangent of the line using the points negative infinitive and |2/3^4|... you have 3 seconds! and if you verify the answer we'll give you a prize (you know it's a pocket pen holder)......
I didn't have the priviledge to stay in a dorm... but it really never bothered me ... maybe the co-ed dorm... but then you know you'll never study.
I would of payed to get out of HS and enroll in a cool University... I think my life would of being TOTALLY different... but what you gonna do..? keep working full time, going to school part time and playing the new NFL 2005 game I got last night .... meow!!... Yup. Booze isn't a "Fraternity only" event. I bet we allllllllllllllllllllllll have some stupid story to tell (like the time in high school when I wanted to surprise this really gorgeous female friend I had by hugging her from behind... and ended up tackling her). In every fraternity there's diff kinds of people. The stupid kind, adventure kind, smart kind, goofy kind... just like any other group of friends. IP: |
